Finishing Up GSOC 2010 PloneFormGen Work

PFG UI in Motion

In a recent post, I described some of the great work Nenad Mancevic (Manca) has been doing adding new user interface features to PloneFormGen as part of his Google Summer of Code project.

GSOC 2010 is now complete, and it's time to show you something moving! Here's a quick tour of some of the new features.

Hopefully, Nenad will be able to make it to Bristol for the Plone Conference, and we'll all be able to let him know personally how much we like his work.

Wow, this is really, really nicely done. Folks are going to *love* this -- PloneFormGen is already about the best form-building tool in any CMS, and this just takes it up another HUGE level. Nice work, Nenad & Steve!

Steve & Nenad, thanks so much for continuing to make PFG excellent. In watching the vid I did have two questions. One, can you make the wrench icon a little bigger? I have had people tell me they didn't notice it before! Also, will it be possible to choose which fields are included in the default toolbox set? I've never needed the Whole Number Field for example but do use select and multi-select often.

Thanks again!
